frn and the Farmlink project
Since 2020, Food Recovery Network (FRN) has partnered with The Farmlink Project (Farmlink) to reduce food loss and food waste on farms throughout the United States.
To date, our network has helped Farmlink recover and donate more than 9.5 million pounds of surplus food to feed communities experiencing food insecurity and hunger!
Want to get involved? Sign up for a Power Hour!
Join FRN for a virtual Power Hour! Together we'll search for information on farms in regions of the country where food insecurity is highest. The Farmlink Project will then use our research to recover surplus food and distribute it to those communities struggling with hunger. By joining one Power Hour, you can help us recover 26,000 pounds of surplus food!
This virtual event is an easy, fun way to engage with FRN staff and other passionate individuals committed to fighting food waste and increasing food access across the U.S. All information will be provided during the call, no prep is needed.
